TaQusia Sharkey is a Certified Trichologist and Master Stylist with over 24 years of experience in the beauty industry. As the founder and owner of Q.Renee Hair Therapy, she has cultivated a welcoming results-driven salon clinic dedicated to empowering clients through high-quality service and an elevated, results-oriented experience focused on hair and scalp health.

TaQusia’s passion for hair care began in childhood, and in 1999, she achieved her dream by earning her Certification of Cosmetology from Kaye’s Beauty College. Committed to continuous growth, TaQusia has advanced her expertise through extensive education and certifications, including Decca Plus, Master Hair Cutting, and a Trichology Diploma. Her commitment to professional growth and advanced training is evident, as she continually attends conventions, summits, and advanced training courses to deepen her knowledge in hair loss, scalp disorders, precision cutting, hair coloring, and more.

Throughout her career, TaQusia has held key roles in respected salons such as SwingTyme Total Salon and Spa, where she worked with Aveda Concept and Davines brands, and Reflections Salon and Spa, where she served as Salon Manager. Following Reflections closure in 2012, she founded Q.Renee Hair Therapy. In response to the evolving needs of her clients during the 2020 pandemic, she expanded her business into a salon clinic, specializing in solutions for hair loss and scalp conditions.

Driven by a sense of purpose, TaQusia believes her talents are a gift to share with others. She actively partners with community organizations, including The Salvation Army, and others to uplift and empower young women and families.  As an engaged community member, she dedicates over 100 hours annually to provide hair services to those in need and has held leadership roles in Rho Delta Tau, a fraternity and sorority for hair professionals, contributing to fundraising and community outreach initiatives.
